Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 October 2026

1. The service

Ascend is a CS2 self-improvement tracker that imports your match and reputation data and presents goals, achievements and analytics. You access it by signing in with your Steam account.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country and to hold a Steam and FACEIT account. You are responsible for activity under your account. We identify you by your Steam account; we do not store your Steam password.

3. Acceptable use

  • Don't abuse, overload, scrape or attempt to break the service or its APIs.
  • Don't use Ascend to harass others or to misrepresent another player's data.
  • Don't resell or redistribute data obtained through Ascend except as the source providers' terms allow.

4. Subscriptions & payment

  • Ascend offers a free tier and paid plans (Pro, Team). Paid features are listed on the pricing page.
  • Payments are processed by Mollie. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time from Settings; access to paid features continues until the end of the paid period. All prices are in euros and include any VAT.
  • If you live in the EU you may withdraw within 14 days of your first payment. When you buy, you ask us to start your plan right away, so if you withdraw we refund that payment minus the days you used.
  • To withdraw or ask about a refund, email support@cswatch.gg with your Steam ID and the payment date. We refund within 14 days to the payment method you used. If something you paid for does not work, tell us and we will fix it or refund you.

5. Third-party data & trademarks

Ascend displays data from Steam, FACEIT and cswatch.gg. Those services have their own terms, and availability of your data depends on them. Ascend is an independent product sponsored by cswatch.gg. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve, Steam or FACEIT. Counter-Strike and related marks belong to their respective owners.

6. Availability & changes

We aim to keep Ascend available but provide it "as is" without guarantees of uptime or that any particular data source will remain accessible. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ascend is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for inaccuracies in third-party data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Termination

You may stop using Ascend and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes are subject to the competent Dutch courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
